Miscommunication

The Scenario

So it was around 9 pm PST on a Saturday and everything was going pretty good. I was playing on with some friends it was 5 of us and we are always playing together. This particular game we were playing was called Rainbow Six Siege, which is an online tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. Also during this time, we were playing in a ranked game with golds/Plat which is the rankings in the game.

What happened

So we started off attacking on this map called Chalet. You get to pick these operators in the game that has different gadgets for different situations. So off the bat, we were in the clear because of where the opposite team was which are the defenders. So once the match started we went to where they would be at. Turns out they had a bandit, but I think no one figured they would so that attempt kinda failed. As we didn’t pick any operators to get through the garage door. We had to take other measures and had to go around the building to get in. But those things didn’t work out so well, then we ended up failing that round.

The next situation is when it was 4–4 out of the rounds and we were on the attacking side. We were about to win, it was like a 2–1 and we were the 2 attackers to one defender. My friend told me there was a frost mat to my left when I was about to go into the room and turns out it was actually to my right. When you get in a frost trap you’re pretty much dead unless your teammate comes in and saves you. So I ended dying because of that. It happened because of the vision that was different from my angle so its good to make sure that you are very sure what you are communicating to teammates. Also, I am very clumsy myself and it was too late as I also saw it, but it was too late at that point. In the end, we still ended up winning that match.
